November just killed me
Okay guys,
This month has been insane. I'm pretty sure it was out to get me. I survived, but barely. It whacked me with fun and hit me with exhaustion, but I survived and am still going strong. Heh, not really. I'm pretty much dead.
Things I have done this month that I have never done before
1. Saw my sister get married. (I cried alot, alot)
a. Walked the flower girls down the isle. (there were three of them and one couldn't even walk)
b. Went in a photo booth. (Okay, it wasn't a real photo booth. But we set up a camera and background and so it was pretty much the same thing)
c. Got a new brother in law. (He's awesome)
d. Oh, and danced until I was limping. (Wedding after reception party. Six hours of dancing!)
2. I went to Chicago
a. Ate Chicago pizza at Gino's (So, so good)
b. Flew on a plane. (prolly should have put this one first)
c. Saw the Michigan lake thingamajigger. (I thought it was the ocean)
d. Rode on the El (So cool!)
e. Rode on a subway. (Awesome too!)
f. Saw the bean. (Super shiny in the dark)
3. Other?
a. Bought a boys shirt. (Its giant and lumberjackish)
b. Read Percy Jackson. (Its pretty good, I like it.)
c. Watched the Bourne Ultimatum. (Okay, I really like this guy)
d. Oh, and went to St Louis, cause our flight back home got mussed. (I didn't even leave the airport)
Yeah, so that was my month. Sigh.
Chicago is so beautifull!
Everything is so old and awesome. I wish that I had camera skills cause there are so many places to take pictures. I felt like I was in a movie. I kept expecting Jason Bourne, or spider man, to climb in from of the roof of the El, or something.
It was freezing and people were walking around in shorts. AAAAGH! What is wrong with you!? My nose is about to fall off, and all you have on are tights!!!
Waiting to watch Nickolas Nickleby. Love that movie

Let us be good to one another.
You know how it is when little kids start singing...
They don't know the words or the tune. But what they lack in melody and verse they make up for... in volume. *Sigh* They usually start out okay. "The sun'll mmm-hmmm" and then: "TOMORROW!"
This is what you would hear right now if you were me: "TOMORROW!!! TOMORROW!!! I HMM-HMM TOMORROW!!! YOUR ONLY MMM-HMMM AWAAAAAAAY!!!"
And their voice breaks at the end because they started the song to high and their vocal cords just died.
To be an innocent child again. One that doesn't notice when people are laughing at you and writing about you in their blog.
Moving on...
I just finished reading the magicians nephiew. This is my third time to do so and I was dully impressed by Jack's masterpeice. One of my favorite parts is the conversation between Digory and his unce Andrew.
Digory is a young boy. Most of all the boys you know, know the rule that you must protect girls. I love how much Digory is descusted by his uncle who breaks the rule. It shows how much character he has.
This is chapter two of the book.
As Uncle Andrew said this, he sighed and looked so grave and noble
and mysterious for a second Digory really thought he was saying
something rather fine. But then he remembered the ugly look he had
seen on his Uncle's face the moment before Polly had vanished: and all
at once he saw through Uncle Andrew's grand words.
"Think of what another world means-you might meet anything-anything"
"And I suppose you've sent Polly into it then" said Digory. His cheeks
were flaming with anger now. "And all I can say" He added, "Even if you
are my uncle-is that you've behaved like a coward, sending a girl to a
place your afraid to go yourself"
"Then she cant get back," Shouted Digory. "And its exactly the same as if
you murdered her."
"She can get back," Said Uncle Andrew, "If someone else will go after her"
And now of course Digory saw the trap in which he was caught: aned he
stared at Uncle Andrew, saying nothing, with his mouth wide open. His
cheecks had gone very pale.
"Oh shut up!" said Digory. "If you had any honor and all that, you'd be
going yourself. But I know you wont. All right. I see I've got to go.
But you are a beast. I suppose you planned the whole thing, so that
she'd go without knowing it and then I'd gave to go after her"
"Of course" Said Uncle Andrew with his hatefull smile.
"By gum" said Digory, "Dont I just wish I was big enough to punch your
head!" Then he buttoned up his coat, took a deep breath, and picked
up the ring. And he thought then, as he always thought afterward too,
that he could not decently have done anything else.
My second favorite part is when Digory is talking to Aslan about his mother.
"But please, please-won't you-can't you give me something that will cure Mother?"
Up till then he had been looking at the Lion's great feet and the huge claws on them:
now, in his despair he looked up at its face. What he saw surprised him as much
as anything in his whole life. For the tawny face was bent down hear his own and
(wonder of wonders) great shining tears stood in the Lion's eyes.
"My son, my son," said Aslan. "I know. Grief is great. Only you and I in this land
know that yet. Let us be good to one another."
This is a perfect representation of God. He not only takes care of us. But he loves us and he shares the different experiences of life with us. He doesnt just watch us from a distance.
I am taking a Worldview class, and a couple of weeks ago we were talking about the three R's of God. Ruler, Righteous, and Relational. God would be a perfect God if he was just Ruler and Righteous. But he is also Relational. And he created us, not because he needs us in any way, but because he is relational and he enjoys having relationships with us.
Happy.

Last night, as I cuddled with myself in a yellow tent of a hoodie, I told myself that I needed a purpose.
My older sis just got married after months of prep and anticipation and I was feeling purposeless.
Before, No matter where we went or who we were with, the wedding was in the back of our minds, and nights at home were filled with organizing and origami. *Sigh*
The wedding was amAYzing! We had ppl coming from five different states and seven different churches.
I cried throughout the cerimony and danced like a madwoman after.
We let the happy couple depart with a farewell of balloons, and then the afterparty started. We danced unitl I was limping, and only the hardcore people were left, sweaty and happy. We broke out the techno music and did a cousins posties with my mancuz, nomi, and grac and one last strip the willow.
After the afterparty my cousins came over and we partied like i've never partied before. We made up lamp jokes, sung about cheese and crackers, played sardines at the park and at church, we danced the crap out of The happy accomplishment dance, ate meatsax, talked in different accents, made a giant mess, we did feast upon the orangutangs and the breakfast cereals... and the Lord did grin.
Well, now, three days later, I am eating teriaki chicken and singing ingrid michaelson.
I made the teriaki chicken from scratch. *auplause* YAY BACON. No recipe. Pretty much I just threw all of the chinese oils and sauces we own into a bowl with raw chicken and daddy cooked it in the wok.
Thats such a great word. Wok! Wok! Wok! *Chuckle*
The rice we served it with was mushy but I forgive you.
Happy is the heart that still feels pain
Darkness drains and light will come again
Swing open your chest and let it in
Just let the love, love, love, begin!
Well, I think that mostly i'm just tired.
HEY NOAH!!! LETS GO PLAY IN THE GRAVEYARD!
*Creepy stalker fanclub laugh*
Bye now.
Wait... I forgot to tell you what I decided my purpose was. The truth is that I have no idea. But at least now that fact doesn't depress me as much as it did.
Oh hey everbody! I'm a cow... And I like turtles.
